"What a wonderful place! A lovely welcome from John and Jill. With so much to see we managed to fit in Alnwick, Dunstanburgh Castle, Rothbury for walks. Can recommend the Redesdale Arms for food, the Birds of Prey Centre at Kielder Forest - fascinating! The barn owl and badger watching was a treat!!"

"Wonderful time. Beautiful cottage, warm, cosy and very homely. Magical Christmas (thanks for the tree and champers!) - snow made it perfect. Thanks John and Jill for making us feel so welcome. As you know, we didn't want to leave! We'll definitely be back. Happy 2011.xx"

"Lovely welcome to one of the nicest cottages we've stayed in. Cottage cosy and well equipped, the perfect place for a really 'chill out' holiday. Weather typical January. Went for a walk in the Kielder Forest, no-one else around! Masses of birds in the garden. Nice to see badger, foxes and barn owls at such close quarters on the wildlife cameras. Would love to come back!"
Bill and Helen, Alloa, January '11.
